Arroz Integral from Alentejo
« on: October 17, 2011, 11:15:35 PM »
Hi everyone,

Is anyone interested in sharing 25kg of local Portuguese, low mileage, organic whole rice? It comes from Herdade do Carvalhoso, an organic farm in the Alentejo. The farm is mentioned in the Local Suppliers forum on this site. The rice would be supplied by César Santiago in Oliveira do Hospital.

Cost for this arroz integral is €46.75/25kg or €1.87/kg. We are interested in 10kg, so there'd be 15kg available for sharing.

We could also be persuaded to share other grains from this farm if anyone is interested.

We are near Tabua, but I don't think delivery to the Benfeita/Coja area should be a problem.

Steve

Hi Steve,

We're interseted in taking the other 10 kilos if still available. Local and organic is good news! Would like to know about other grains available too.

Clare, the pricelists are here in the 'Local Suppliers' section. As soon as I have storage space for grains (maybe a couple of months' time?) I'd be up for ordering from Herdade do Carvalhoso rather than Essential.
